Thankful

Lord I can’t see and I truly do not understand, but I thank you for giving me this unexpected change,to be able to learn to trust you more.I don’t know what I would do without You or Your word especially now.I thank You  for helping so many years ago,Mrs.Stead to Learn to trust You and for giving her the words to Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus so much simple truth in it, and yet it is one very hard thing to trust and just to take You at Your word. I thank You for Isaiah 28:29 This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working. I’m very thankful for a patient listening counselor, who truly is excellent in working although sometimes it seems hidden from me. I’m thankful for so many years ago as well that You Lord gave Amy Carmichael the wisdom to say “It is a safe thing to trust Him to fulfill the desires which He creates” I love You Lord I’am thankful You know the desires You have put in my heart and are also able to perform what You promise.Lord as I said in the beginning please don’t give me answers to why, when & how please just grant me Your grace to trust you more.I know You are my Light and will strengthen me,Lord I pray that You would help me to expect with confidence Your promises to me.

I don’t know eveything … but I do know

for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. 2 Timothy1:12

  1.  know not why God’s wondrous grace
To me He hath made known,
Nor why, unworthy, Christ in love
Redeemed me for His own.I know not how this saving faith

    • Refrain:
But “I know Whom I have believed,
And am persuaded that He is able
To keep that which I’ve committed
      Unto Him against that day.”
  2. To me He did impart,
Nor how believing in His Word
    Wrought peace within my heart.
  3. I know not how the Spirit moves,
    Convincing men of sin,
    Revealing Jesus through the Word,
    Creating faith in Him.
  4. I know not what of good or ill
    May be reserved for me,
Of weary ways or golden days,
    Before His face I see.
  5. I know not when my Lord may come,
    At night or noonday fair,
Nor if I walk the vale with Him,
Or meet Him in the air.

Am I in Doubting Castle?

Is it just me, or has the Lord given you many promises through His precious word;and it’s not long before you start doubting again?I do believe time and time again I am going to doubting castle “thinking” it’s a good place for help.Only to be welcomed by it’s host Giant Despair.I’m only trapped then in doubt and told there is no way to escape, but there is, I know I have God’s word:which is more than anything else I could ever have. In Job 8:32 He tells us,And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. So if you know that God has shared is promises with you, and you are anything like me than you to can be FREE! Praise the Lord!!! If you have not read or watched Pilgrim”s Progress,I would highly recommend it.
May God richly bless your day.

My Testimony

At the age of Four the Lord saved me by His grace;at the closing of vacation bible school one afternoon. At the age of Eleven I finally was baptized, and at the age of Thirteen the Lord used circumstances in my life to bring His word to me personally.I’m thankful that God brought his word to me when He did for He sheltered me from a lot of woe.Since I can remember the Lord has given me a heart for missions. I’m eagerly seeking for what He might have me to do!I can see the Lord’s hand day by day in my life through daily events.I’m thankful it is nothing I have to do,because He has already done it all for me by his underserved marvelous grace.

Kingdom of the unknown

unknown paths

Only fools enter the kingdom of the unknown, these pilgrims enter in the name of One {God} who knows their future,better than they remember the past! pilgrim’s progress {Christiana’s journey}

Is it short?

… Is the LORD’S hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not. Numbers 11:23

Red light!

English: Danish traffic-light with segregated ... Stopped at a red light what do you do? Sometimes you start a conversation with yourself or whoever else is with you, sometimes you listen to music to pass the time of waiting and sometimes you turn your car off {usually because you are running out of gasoline.}So what do you do when your stopped at a more spiritual rather than physical red light? You can choose to wait patiently or impatiently {more of what I seem to do.sigh} waiting on the Lord isn’t easy it takes a lot of faith, but there are down through the past wonderful examples of stories of those who did wait for God.{It can be done!} I know the Lord did promise in Isaiah 49:23…They Shall not be ashamed that wait for Me.{God} but it is hard! So you’re sitting there waiting and you start a conversation with your Everlasting Heavenly Father, and then you listen once again to the sound of His sweet promises and sing of them, and when you start getting weary in waiting Stop and let Him whisper to your Heart,Soul and Mind,Be still and know that I am God Psalm 46:10. May God richly bless your day in Christ.

Are you ready?

1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear. The Bible commands us to be ready always to give an answer to every man.So one simple question are you ready? And the only way when can be ready is to, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15.May God richly bless your day in Christ.

What do you do?

In chapter 36 of Isaiah we read of a threat to king Hezekiah and what he does about it,but then in chapter 37 it comes again and we see what Hezekiah does ( and what this post is about.) and when he received the letter he read it and went up unto the house of the Lord (and spread it before The Lord. And prayed unto the Lord.) So many times when I receive something I don’t like I seem to always desire to go to others then the Lord,When the Lord should be first!I’m not at all trying to say that seeking christian counseling from others is wrong, but when it is put before the Lord that is wrong!God knows all the solutions to every matter, even when they seem hopeless,we just have to be listening to Him.The Bible says in Psalm 37:7 Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him… I once heard a preacher preach; why settle for going to a fellow servant, when you can go straight to the Master? May God richly bless your day in Christ.

Where is your strength?

… In quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.Isaiah 30:15 The Lord was promising to the children of Israel that in quietness and confidence {faith} their strength would be, but they would not. So we see in the next verse that they chose to flee upon horses and to be swift instead of simply trusting in the promise God had given to them. And then on down in verse 18 as a result of their disobedience that the Lord waited to be gracious to them, so that He would be exalted, and have mercy upon. I know so many times I have a hard time just simply trusting what God has promised to me. God is a loving God, but He is also a righteous judge on the disobedient.May God richly bless your day in Christ.
